This page is about the Gulp waitlist on this website. The Gulp app itself keeps your photos and videos on your iPhone and doesn't collect them.
Who runs it
Gulp is made by Cengizhan Köse, who is responsible for this waitlist. Questions and requests: me@cengizhankose.com.
What we store
When you join, we store:
- your email address
- when you joined
- where you came from: the ref and utm_ tags of the link you opened, if it had any, and the website that sent you, if your browser shares it
- your browser's preferred language
- your browser's user agent: the line of text that names your browser and type of device
We don't store your IP address. The server keeps it in memory for a few minutes to stop people flooding the form, then forgets it. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking pixels.
Why
- Your email: to send your TestFlight invite and to tell you when Gulp launches.
- Where you came from: to learn which creator or post brought you here.
- Language and user agent: to know which languages to add next and which devices to test on, and to spot spam.
We never sell or share the list, and we won't send you a newsletter. We rely on your consent: you chose to join, and you can change your mind at any time.
Where it lives
The list is kept in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Out Plane in Frankfurt, Germany. Only Gulp's maker can export it.
How long we keep it
Until you ask to be removed, or until the beta invites and the launch email have gone out, whichever comes first.
Getting removed
Email me@cengizhankose.com from the address you signed up with and ask to be removed. We'll take you off the list within 30 days, usually much sooner, and reply to confirm. You can also ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can see, correct or remove your data and withdraw your consent. If you are in the EU, the UK or Turkey, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
